About Liz Hall Yoga
Liz Hall has been teaching Yoga since 1998. She is a Kripalu Certified Yoga Teacher. She teaches for several organizations throughout the central Connecticut area in addition to her own classes based out of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Meriden at 328 Paddock Ave. Teaching to a wide range of populations has given Liz invaluable experience in working with people with a variety of needs and abilities.
Liz believes that yoga should be therapeutic for YOUR life. We will be doing very particular yoga postures with the main intention of making YOUR life the best it can be. The classes are progressive. You will get stronger and more flexible in a balanced way over time. Chronic limitations will disappear restoring you to movements you enjoyed in your youth.
Liz designs her classes in a consecutive pattern of both strength and flexibility. Alignment is all important for optimal safety. You will learn several yogic breathing techniques and you will be reminded to use these breath techniques so you can receive the greatest results. At the end of class you will feel a rejuvenated sense of well-being.
Liz's style is strongly influenced by Desikachar's Viniyoga (moving in coordination with breath); self-compassion and exploration from Kripalu Yoga; and the flow of Vinyasa Yoga.
