Liz Hall has been teaching Yoga since 1998. Liz teaches for several companies and organizations throughout the central Connecticut area in addition to her own classes based out of Unitarian Universalist Church in Meriden. Teaching to a wide range of populations has given Liz invaluable experience in working with people with a variety of needs and abilities.
Liz believes that hatha (the physical yoga) should be therapeutic for YOUR life. In Liz's classes you will get stronger and more flexible in a balanced way to avoid injuries and be able to enjoy your life in a way that you may have thought was only for the very young.
Liz designs her classes so that you will grow in both strength and flexibility in a consecutive pattern so that alignment is maintained for optimal safety. You will learn a special way of breathing and you will be continuously reminded to use this breath so that you will receive the greatest results. By the end of class you will feel a rejuvenated sense of well-being.
Liz's style is strongly influenced by Desikachar's Viniyoga (moving in coordination with breath,) self-compassion and exploration from Kripalu Yoga, and the flow of Vinyasa Yoga.
